The NZ Skeptics’ 2026 conference will be held in Christchurch this year from July 31st to August 2nd. Our special guests for our special 40 year anniversary will be the team from The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe podcast.
Tickets are still available to purchase at

Weekend passes provide access to the conference sessions on both Saturday and Sunday.
The traditional Friday Night pre-conference social is free to attend, with a cash bar. Tickets for the Saturday evening canapés and awards are now available to purchase
The SGU will be hosting their own live show, A Skeptical Extravaganza of Special Significance, in the early evening on Friday, July 31st. This is an SGU run event, and is not included in our weekend conference pass. Tickets to the extravaganza can be purchased directly from the SGU website at https://www.theskepticsguide.org/product/the-extravaganza-new-zealand, and are limited.
