2026 Nowruz Festival

Following 3,000 years of customs and traditions, the colorful Nowruz Festival — the Persian New Year celebration — will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This year, Nowruz is observed in a different atmosphere and with a different spirit. In light of the grave conditions in Iran and the brutal killing of thousands of our fellow citizens by the Islamic Republic regime, this year’s Nowruz program will not be a joyful celebration, but a gathering dedicated to remembrance, solidarity, and standing with our people.This year's festival, with more than 40 booth vendors, is free and will be held indoor & outdoor at DoubleTree by Hilton Washington Dulles Airport.
