Cordancia hosts the 2026 Nico Toscano Young Musician Competition
Instrumentalists and Vocalists ages 15-22 residing or attending school in Monroe County, New York.
• Junior Division – Age 15-18
• Senior Division – Age 19-22
Application Deadline: August 11, 2026
Repertoire
Junior Division – Music composed after 1900
Senior Division – Crossing Seas: piece is either (i) written by a composer who emigrated to another country to live or (ii) directly connected to the theme of ocean/sea
Winners will perform as soloists with Cordancia Chamber Orchestra in its 2026-2027 season. There must be a version of the piece for solo with chamber orchestra or smaller ensemble such as strings.
