2026 Newcomer Education and Training Fair

Back by popular demand, the Language Assessment, Referral, and Counselling Centre (LARCC) of Catholic Social Services is hosting its annual Newcomer Education and Training Fair.

Learn about English classes and discover free education, training, and employment readiness programs in Edmonton. Meet with schools, ask questions, and explore class options, schedules, and costs. Short, 15-minute, one-on-one educational counselling sessions will be available on a first-come first-served basis.

Parking

Street parking is available. Please, do not park in the FreshCo parking lot. Staff parking can be provided for anyone with mobility challenges.

Space is limited, please reserve your free ticket.

A list of post-secondary institutions in addition to settlement and immigration organizations will be posted closer to the date of the event.

This event is ideal for newcomers with CLB 5+.
