2026 NC- Truth, Justice & Reconciliation Summit

The Beloved Community Center of Greensboro will host the 2026 North Carolina Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation Summit (NC-TJRC Summit), taking place February 8–10, 2026, at the Global Learning Center at Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Over three days, community leaders, faith institutions, advocates, youth, and residents from across North Carolina will convene to learn, practice, and deepen Truth, Justice, and Reconciliation work. Through courageous dialogue, hands-on training, and collective reflection, participants will gain practical tools to confront harm, honor lived experiences, and strengthen their communities from the ground up.

The 2026 Summit will feature Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry as keynote speaker, offering national insight on truth-centered leadership and democratic renewal. The program will also include the unveiling of new portraits from Robert Shetterly’s Americans Who Tell the Truth and a special tribute honoring the life and legacy of Reverend Nelson Johnson, marking one year since his passing.
