NC Lawyers on Call (4ALL) is an annual pro bono event hosted by the North Carolina Bar Foundation, held in conjunction with the North Carolina Bar Association. On March 6, 2026, North Carolina lawyers across the state will join forces to provide free legal answers, information and resources to callers from across the state with questions regarding North Carolina-related legal matters.

Law student and paralegal volunteers are invited to help as call screeners to help issue spot and connect callers with appropriate volunteers for service. Law student and paralegal volunteers should register through the 2026 NC Lawyers on Call – Virtual Registration page.

The 2026 NC Lawyers on Call (4ALL) event will operate through a phone service called Telzio that can be accessed by website (recommended) or mobile app. Volunteers will take calls related to their designated areas of practice, which can be identified as part of the volunteer registration process. Volunteers can serve for more than one shift but need only register for the earliest shift they are willing to serve.

NOTE: The greatest need is for volunteers for the 4-7pm shift. Thank you!

Step-by-step Registration Instructions:

• Click on “Reserve a Spot”, then click “+” next to select your desired shift time and then click "Register."

• On the Checkout window, fill in your contact information.

• Click "Register."

• A separate window opens up for “more details.” Please enter your company name, bar number and selected areas of practice. Then click the “Complete order” button.

Attendance at NCBF events authorizes the NCBF to capture, use, and publish attendee’s image or voice for use in electronic, digital, and printed media and reproductions and visual and audio recordings.
