2026 National Private & Parochial School Chess Championships

Welcome to the 2026 National Private & Parochial School Chess Championships! This USCF-Rated Tournament is for students in grades K-12. Other details are below:

• Times: Blitz (Side event): Friday 6:30 PM. Saturday rounds: 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm. Sunday rounds: 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm

• Location: River Oaks Baptist School (2300 Willowick Rd., Houston, Texas 77027)

• Grades: K-12 students who attend private, parochial or home-schools

• Sections: Elementary, middle, and high school sections

• System: 5 Rounds Swiss System

• Game: 55 min. Delay 5 sec.

• Registration: $50 tournament; $25 Blitz event

Lunch and refreshments will be sold throughout the tournament. Vegetarian and nut-free options will be available.
