Welcome to the 2026 National NALSA Moot Court Competition!
Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Northwestern University NALSA are pleased to host the 34th Annual National NALSA Moot Court Competition! The competition will take place February 13-14, 2025 in Chicago, IL.
The National Native American Law Student Association (NNALSA) Moot Court Competition sponsors the largest national moot court competition dedicated to Indian law. This competition simulates appellate arguments before the Supreme Court of the United States, with teams submitting written briefs and presenting oral arguments against peers from law schools nationwide.
Cost:
Registration Fee: $500 per team, two (2) participants per team. If you do not have a partner, purchase the Individual ticket, which is $250. The Moot Court Administrator will pair you with another Individual registrant. Schools are permitted to register up to four (4) teams.
Dates:
The problem will be released by NNALSA on December 1, 2025.
Registration begins on November 1, 2025, and will close when we reach our team limit or on December 12, 2025. Registration will be capped at 48 teams and will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis. In the event more than 48 teams register, any additional team(s) will be added to a waitlist. Waitlist teams may be admitted into the Competition on a case-by-case basis. Final decisions related to team participation will be made by December 19, 2025.
Briefs will be due January 12, 2026.
