Ticket Sales for the 2026 Nashville Weightlifting New Year Open

Event Overview:

Welcome to the 2026 Nashville Weightlifting New Year Open.

Join us for an Olympic weightlifting competition open to athletes of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're a Youth, Junior, Senior, or Master, this event is tailored for you! Competitors will perform the classic lifts: Snatch and Clean & Jerk, each with three attempts per lift.

Registration Details:

-Early Bird Registration: $50 (until Oct12th)

- Regular Registration: $75 (until Dec.13th )

- Late Registration: $100 (until Jan.3rd)

Membership Requirements:

While you don’t need to be a member of USA Weightlifting to compete, if you're lifting as a sanctioned member, your USAW membership must be current through Jan.17th., 2026.

Attire and Competition Requirements:

- USAW members must wear a singlet and adhere to USAW rules.

- Unsanctioned lifters are not required to wear a singlet.

- Please specify your correct weight class in kilograms.

New IWF Weight Categories (effective June 1, 2025):

- Men:** 60kg, 65kg, 71kg, 79kg, 88kg, 98kg, 110kg, +110kg

- Women:** 48kg, 53kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 77kg, 86kg, +86kg

Youth Age Group Categories:

- Men:56kg, 60kg, 65kg, 71kg, 79kg, 88kg, 98kg, +98kg

- Women: 44kg, 48kg, 53kg, 58kg, 63kg, 69kg, 77kg, +77kg

Unsanctioned Lifters:
