2026 MFA Empty Space Performances

Through in class and outside rehearsals, the directors and actors work together to bring to life a published text with an Empty Space. No additional tech, props, costumes, or design is allowed in these productions; just the space, the actors, and the words. Over the course of a month, three shows will be presented as works-in-progress over a weekend of performances.

All performances are free and general admission. They will take place on the second floor of Abbott Hall at the Wirtz Center Downtown in room 206.
