This annual running event will be NCRC's May social run, honoring our nation's veterans on Memorial Day. The official run starts at 7:30 a.m. at Veterans Freedom Park on Harrison Avenue in Cary, goes through Umstead Park and the N.C. Museum of Art campus to downtown Raleigh, ending at the N.C. State Memorial Belltower on Hillsborough Street for a total of about 10 miles. Refreshments will be available at the art museum and belltower. Other route options are available, including starting from the art museum (4 miles one way), the belltower to the art museum and back, or the belltower to the Cary monument and back.
