📅 Weekend Breakdown
Friday (Warm-up & Meet-up)
Coaches: Meeting Friday night in the stands during Sami's camp (nick named the Samboree) to finalize our Small Area Games.
Parents & Players: Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you're in town, come down to meet the coaches, watch the older kids train, and stick around for the public session!
Saturday (On the Ice)
Players must be dressed and ready to line up for bibs at 7:10 AM. (Bibs determine the groups and must be returned after every session).
The plan is 5 groups of 10 rotating through Small Area Games with off-ice food/drink breaks. Note: If we get 20 more registrations, we may adapt this into two divisions.
Goalies: Dedicated sessions to try on gear and get coaching on the small ice, plus goalie coaches working within the Small Area Games.
Sunday (Off-Ice Activities)
Pencil in 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM for potential off-ice activities. Final details will be confirmed closer to the date based on numbers and the weather report.
Monday (The Grand Finale)
4 hours of cross-ice games, fun mini-games (and ice cuts).
We will officially close the Jamboree from 12:00 PM – 12:15 PM, so the rest of your afternoon is yours!
