2026 Lil Jays Weekend

Inter Residence Hall Government (IRHG) is hosting Lil Jays Weekend Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29! Join us for a fun weekend!

Inter Residence Hall Government (IRHG) is excited to continue the annual sibling’s weekend, Lil’ Jays Weekend. Lil' Jays weekend will take place from March 27th - March 29th. This year’s theme is "The Lil' and the Jays Weekend"! During this event we invite current Jays to bring their younger family members to campus to experience what it is like to be a college student.

We will be doing activities throughout the weekend that include movie watching, crafts, and excursions throughout Omaha. Registration is $40 per Lil' Jay. The registration fee is due by Friday, March 20th; registration covers meals, t-shirts, and the cost for activities and excursions. Lil' Jays will stay in the residence halls with their sibling for the weekend.

Check-in is from 3:00-5:00 PM on Friday the 27th in the Swanson Hall Lobby. You can pick up your Lil' Jay any time that is convenient before 5:00 PM on Sunday the 29th.

Info: Join us for an instructor led painting class in McGloin Hall.

Info: Choose between going to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo or a trip to the Kiewit Luminarium in Downtown Omaha.
