Join us for annual gathering of Louisiana's higher education community & key stakeholders to focus on prevention in collegiate settings.About this Event
This annual event is designed to bring together professional staff from institutions of higher education, community stakeholders, law enforcement, and various prevention & treatment-related agencies from across the state to discuss trending substance use issues, emergent prevention programming, and viable solutions to implement.
This year's summit will have sessions on topics from understanding the role of leadership in prevention and how to lead when you're in charge; national collegiate drug trends, available resources and strategic planning in prevention; Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM), Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), and Coordinate, Assessment, Response, and Educate (CARE) teams and their approaches in an institution of higher education (IHE) context; and high-risk gambling in the collegiate community.
Once you are registered, you will receive a detailed agenda on Wednesday, May 13th ahead of the summit.
