Iron Water Ranch is honored to host our annual Lambing School Course as a window into real-life experiences for shepherds during lambing season. This course will be hosted on Saturday, January 31st from 10AM to 4PM. This class is one-of-a-kind as it happens during our lambing season and is hosted in a bay of our lambing barn. It doesn’t get more hands on than this!
Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for new shepherds to learn and get experience to handle their own lambing season. Prospective and aspiring shepherds without flocks are just as welcome as shepherds who've had sheep for years but want another perspective on lambing!
If you have specific questions you already know you want covered, please mention it in your registration.

Lunch is included in the cost of this class. Lunch options will be emailed to all registered students about a week in advance. The class cost is $250 for a single shepherd or $400 for two shepherds from the same farm. We will be indoors most of the day but the barn is not heated so please dress appropriately.
