Thank you for your interest in the 80th Annual Interstate Environmental Health Seminar presented by the Tennessee Environmental Health Association.
This conference is a collaboration of eight states in the eastern United States. The conference has been entertaining, educating, and connecting environmental health professionals since 1946. Tennessee has been participating in hosting this conference for more than 60 years.
This year the conference will be held October 3rd through the 5th of 2026 at the Edgewater at the Aquarium Hotel and Conference Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
One of the few conferences that can say they have been in consistent operation for 80 years. Originating in West Virginia in 1946, the Interstate Environmental Health Seminar specializes in connecting and educating environmental health professionals in participating states along Interstate 75. Participating states include Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Members of each state’s environmental health associations attend the conference. Members of these state associations include leaders in the industry from private and public sectors.
The conference venue is the Edgewater at the Aquarium Hotel and Conference Center, conveniently located one block from the main street in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The Seminar is organized this year by the Tennessee Environmental Health Association.
