About this Event
Why convene?
- Extreme Heat is one of the most significant natural hazards in Southern California
- Review our recent Extreme Heat Tabletop and Regional Heat Summit
- Create space to generate ideas for future events (mini-tabletops, the Palm Springs Regional Heat Summit this fall)
- Lunch provided! (Register by March 20th so we can order enough food)
We invite you to contribute your expertise, share your experiences, and help co‑create a more heat‑resilient region.
Register Below for the State led CA Extreme Heat Action Plan (EHAP) Session
Our regional convening will immediately follow the State led CA Extreme Heat Action Plan (EHAP) session that's being held from 9 to 10:30AM. California is updating the Extreme Heat Action Plan, which outlines an all-of-government approach to building resilience statewide to one of the deadliest climate change hazards - extreme heat. They will provide an overview of the EHAP process and content, serve as an opportunity to give general and track-specific feedback, and highlight heat resources offered by the state.
These are two seperate events, so register here through this form.
