About this Event

Indigenous Peoples’ Day PHX Fest takes place October 12, 2026 at Arizona Center in Downtown Phoenix, brought to you by Cahokia PHX, an Indigenous Creative Placekeeping Platform dedicated to building spaces where Indigenous artists, entrepreneurs, and community can gather, create, and thrive on our own terms. This year’s celebration is rooted in resilience and self determination, honoring the truth that Indigenous communities are still here, still building, and still leading.

The day includes a 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk led by Native Women Run, a chance to move together in celebration of Indigenous culture and wellness. Guests can also explore an Indigenous Market featuring 50 or more vendors, browse art demonstrations and a gallery showcase, and enjoy food and lifestyle booths throughout the grounds. Live performances run across multiple staging areas all day, spotlighting Indigenous indie and local bands alongside cultural performances, while interactive brand spaces create space for meaningful connection between Indigenous businesses and the community.

At its heart, IPD PHX Fest is about celebrating Indigenous diversity, supporting youth and culture, and creating a gathering where Indigenous brands, artists, and community members can be seen, supported, and celebrated. Come move, shop, eat, create, and celebrate with us.
