About this Event

Join clinicians, researchers, and technology leaders for two days focused on how i2b2, AI, and modern data platforms are transforming public health, clinical research, and real‑time population intelligence. This year’s program features keynote speaker Monica Bharel, MD, MPH, and a full slate of sessions on wastewater surveillance, human‑values‑centered AI, EHR‑based public health networks, secure data enclaves, computed phenotypes, and next‑generation i2b2 capabilities.

Day 1 – Speaker Sessions

Highlights include:

• Keynote: Monica Bharel, MD, MPH

• Human Values Project: AI supporting public health (Zak Kohane, MD, PhD)

• Panels: Wastewater surveillance; EHR networks for public health; Secure enclave use cases

• Talks: Computed phenotypes & federated learning; Protocol complexity in clinical trials; Drug discovery and patient impact; i2b2 cohort orchestration with DataLENS

• Sponsor and innovation updates throughout the day

Day 2 – i2b2 Workshops

A hands‑on training day led by the i2b2 development team, featuring guided exercises in cohort discovery, OMOP integrations, and the SHRINE federated query network. Participants will explore the redesigned platform, learn practical workflows, and see new features in i2b2 1.8.2 and 1.8.3 in action.
