This year’s program will include a review of Historic Kansas City’s work over the past year, followed by a keynote presentation by Erik Stafford, who will address the importance of the built environment and preservation to African American heritage in Kansas City. Attendees will hear about the significance of buildings undergoing active rehabilitation work, as well as recent accomplishments toward expanding National Register of Historic Places recognition on Kansas City’s East Side. The evening will include our annual organizational business meeting, with the election of officers and board members.
The Annual Meeting is your opportunity as a member of Historic Kansas City to engage directly in the organization’s work and governance, while also hearing about ongoing advocacy, education efforts, and priorities for the year ahead.
