The 2026 Health Summit: Young Leaders Advancing Health in a New Era is an exciting conference dedicated to exploring innovative approaches and strategies to improve the health and well-being of our people and communities across the state.
Join us on Sept 24 & 25, 2026 at Dillard University, 2601 Gentilly Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70122 for two days filled with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and collaborative sessions. See the preliminary agenda below.
The Louisiana Center for Health Equity, in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Health, New Orleans Health Department, and Dilard University and additional partners, is pleased to announce the 2026 Health Summit: Young Leaders Advancing Health in a New Era. The Summit will open on Thursday, September 24th at 1:00 pm (registration opens at noon) and resume on Friday, September 25 at 9:00 AM (registration and continental breakfeast will begin at at 8:00 am).
The purpose of the 2026 Health Summit is to improve health in Louisiana by focusing on outcomes for women and children. The ultimate goal of our collective work is LA40by2030, or for Louisiana to rank in the top 40 for health outcomes by 2030. This work includes identifying, developing, and promoting practices and policies to support children and families.
