2026 HBCU Bus Tour
Join us for an exciting, hands-on exploration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) during our 2026 HBCU Bus Tour. This in-person experience is designed to give students and families direct exposure to outstanding HBCU campuses, their academic offerings, rich histories, and vibrant student life.
All tours will depart from and return to Fredericksburg, Virginia, with pick-up and drop-off at the Route 17 Commuter Lot, making participation convenient while maximizing campus exposure.
Day 1 — March 31, 2026
Departure: Fredericksburg, VA
Participants will travel to North Carolina to visit North Carolina A&T State University and Winston-Salem State University. Students will experience guided campus tours and gain insight into academic programs, admissions processes, student organizations, and campus culture.
Return: Fredericksburg, VA
Day 2 — April 2, 2026
Departure: Fredericksburg, VA
The tour continues with visits to two premier Mid-Atlantic HBCUs: Howard University in Washington, D.C., and Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. These visits will highlight urban campus life, academic excellence, scholarship opportunities, and career pathways.
Return: Fredericksburg, VA
