2026 Field Day: World Cup Edition

The ASCE Miami-Dade Branch is thrilled to announce our highly anticipated 2026 Field Day: World Cup Edition! Get ready to experience one of South Florida’s most exciting engineering events of the year, taking place at the iconic Zoo Miami. This annual tradition brings together more than 600 engineers and their families for a full day of teamwork, competition, and global celebration. Teams representing companies from across the region will face off in thrilling, sport-inspired challenges as they compete for the coveted Field Day Trophy and the ultimate title of World Cup Champion!

All companies and attendees are invited to form teams of four (4) members to participate in the games. If your team only has three (3) players, one member can participate twice—for example, run a relay leg twice or throw/kick a ball twice. For games like Leaky Pipe or Tug of War, teams are allowed to bring an additional participant from the same company to complete the roster for those specific events. If you’re attending with a company, a representative should have received the Team Registration Form and will handle registration. If you’re attending individually or with friends, you can stop by the Team Registration Table at the start of Field Day to be placed on or register a team after purchasing your event ticket. Field Day is more than just a day of fun—it’s a chance to give back. All proceeds from this event help fund scholarships for students pursuing degrees in Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at Miami Dade College, Florida International University, and the University of Miami. This year’s World Cup Edition will bring an atmosphere of excitement as teams represent their companies, showing off their team spirit with jerseys, flags, and creativity. Expect an unforgettable day filled with competitive games, kid-friendly activities, delicious food, music, and community—all set in the lively environment of Zoo Miami.
