About this Event
The 2026 Fibroid Awareness Conversation Event is a FREE community-focused experience designed to foster open, informative, and compassionate conversations about uterine fibroids and women’s reproductive health—an often under addressed issue affecting millions of women, particularly women of color.
What You Can Expect:
- Clear, culturally responsive education on uterine fibroids, including symptoms, treatment options, and proactive care
- Age-appropriate gynecological health education for girls ages 11–17, supporting early awareness and healthy menstrual conversations
- Engaging discussions led by healthcare, wellness, and community professionals
- A safe, supportive space to ask questions, share experiences, and learn without judgment
- Practical resources and tools to support reproductive and overall wellness
- Attendees will be treated to a complimentary lunch, creating space for connection and conversation
- Attendees will take home thoughtfully prepared giveaway bags and have chances to win special door prizes during the event.
This event brings together women impacted by fibroids, health advocates, gynecological and wellness professionals, educators, community leaders, parents, caregivers, and girls navigating their reproductive health journeys.
By creating inclusive, intergenerational spaces, the 2026 Fibroid Awareness Conversation Event aims to break stigma, increase reproductive health literacy, and encourage proactive, preventive care across generations.

We will cover the basics of what to expect during their period, how often they occur, and common symptoms. By providing practical tips and resources, we hope to foster a supportive environment where young women feel confident and informed about their bodies.
Who I am: Rooting Myself in My Values

Info: This interactive and reflective workshop invites teens to pause, look inward, and explore the values that shape who they are and how they show up in the world. Through guided activities, small-group discussion, and real-life scenarios, participants will identify their core values and examine how those values influence daily decisions, relationships, and future goals. Teens will practice aligning their actions with what matters most to them, building greater self-awareness, confidence, and authenticity.
Healthy Eating for Your Body: Teen Edition
