2026 Cresent Cropportunity: Summer Shindig!
I hope you've saved a spot on your calendar for this! ;) So here we go! We’re doing the WHOLE SHABANG this summer! Proceeds from the retreat will benefit the AMERICAN FOUNDATION FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION. ♡
☆ Saturday, July 18, 9 am til 9 pm.
☆ Carpenters Union Hall in East Peoria.
☆ ALL crafters are welcome! Please please please INVITE YOUR CRAFTY GALS!
$60 PER PERSON til July 12. No reservations or refunds after that date. Ages 13-17 are also welcome with an accompanying adult. Your ticket price includes…
*6-foot table all to yourself, with a padded chair in a well-lit, air-conditioned union hall.
*Catered lunch from Chicken Salad Chick. Catered dinner from Moe's Southwest Grill.
*Homemade cupcakes! (Gluten free option available.)
*Plenty of bottled water & ice all day.
*Door prize of your choosing. Maybe even more than one!
*One free raffle ticket.
*Table gift as a Thank You from me. ♡

Please use the Friends & Family option, and include a note with YOUR EMAIL, esp if this is your first time with us. :) If you would prefer to pay by check, message me for my mailing address, and I'll follow up with registration questions.

*Snacks OR supplies to share. Closer to the event, I'll post a voluntarily sign-up sheet.
*Beverages for yourself.
*Extension cords for your lamps or equipment. I will have SOME power cords available, but back-ups can't hurt.
*Cash for the valets, paper buffet, and White Elephant sale, with 100% donated to AFSP.
*Cash to purchase raffle tickets: $5 for 5 tickets, $10 for 15, $25 for 50. Raffle prize values range from $20 to over $100!
What about shopping...?
*PAPER BUFFET! Table filled with full, unused sheets of paper! $0.25 per sheet. You can donate paper you don’t want, as well, though it’s not a swap, it’s a fundraiser. ;)
*WHITE ELEPHANT SALE! If you have new or used crafting supplies that you’d like to get rid of, please price them appropriately. 50% of the proceeds will go to the AFSP, and you keep 50%. Please contact me for a seller number, so that you can tag items ahead of time. (I will not have time to tag for you. Please bring ONLY craft/sewing/scrapbook items, not random stuff from your basement.)
*VENDORS...? There are different opportunities to share your business. Contact me privately for more info.
*CREATIVE MEMORIES! I'm a "Hobbyist" CM Advisor, and I will have some new-ish products plus discounted retired items for sale, with 15% of sales donated to AFSP. (If you have a small order for NEW items from the website but don’t want to pay $9 shipping, message me before June 30, and I’ll order for you, and bring your items to the event.)
Alcohol is NOT allowed at this event. My insurance rider doesn't cover that. Sorry!
HOTELS available in East Peoria:
Stoney Creek Inn, across the street. Hampton Inn and Paradice Hotel & Casino are down the street (although it’s not called Hampton anymore). Other hotels are also available in East Peoria.

I have been fundraising for this important organization since 2002. “Crescent Cropportunity” is named in memory of my soul-sister Kristina, who we lost to suicide in 2006, and the crescent moon was our sorority symbol. You will have the opportunity to earn an additional door prize by completing a coloring page about why suicide prevention & mental health awareness are important to YOU. ♡
