Southampton University Quiz Society are pleased to announce we will be hosting the Southern UK mirror of CREEK II, a 1.5-dot quizbowl tournament, on Saturday, January 24th.We aim to begin the tournament at 10am, so ask that teams aim to arrive for 9:30 so a briefing before games start. Moderators are asked to arrive promptly in order for rooms to be set up.
This is a closed (i.e. student-only), restricted tournament. We ask that you please check player eligibility with UKQB before signing up.
IMPORTANT: Due to limits on rooms, we are currently operating with a field cap of 12 and thus ask that institutions sign up a maximum of 2 teams. If we are able to obtain more rooms, we will let team contacts know.
Costs as follows:
Base fee per team: £90
New to quizbowl discount: −£40
Shorthanded discount (1–2 players): −£40
Buzzer discount: £5 per working buzzer set
Moderators: −£25 per moderator
