About this Event
The Craniosynostosis Provider and Community Educational Day is a one-day event designed to bring together healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community members to advance knowledge and collaboration in the care and support of children with these craniofacial conditions.
This educational program will feature presentations from Phoenix Children’s experts and community partners, focusing on current clinical approaches, multidisciplinary care, and resources that support children with craniofacial differences and their families. Attendees will gain insight into medical management, care coordination, and psychosocial considerations, and strategies for navigating educational and community supports.
Our goal is for participants to leave with:
- A deeper understanding of craniosynostosis conditions and their multidisciplinary management
- Increased awareness of available clinical, educational, and community resources
- Practical tools to support advocacy, care coordination, and family-centered care
The Craniosynostosis Provider and Community Educational Day highlight the importance of collaboration among patients, families, healthcare providers, educators, and community partners. This event reflects Phoenix Children’s ongoing commitment to providing the best healthcare, healing, and hope for children and the families we serve.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Our goal is to improve the knowledge of clinicians, so they are better equipped to provide health care for children with craniosynostosis conditions.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate craniosynostosis from other cranial shape abnormalities and identify appropriate indications for referral to specialty care.
- Describe current evidence-based approaches to the multidisciplinary evaluation and management of children with craniosynostosis, including surgical interventions, genetic considerations, and developmental monitoring.
- Apply family-centered care strategies and interdisciplinary collaboration principles to improve care coordination and long-term outcomes for patients with craniosynostosis and their families.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This course is designed for primary care providers, advanced practice providers, clinical and school nursing staff, psychologists, clinical research scientists, social workers, mental health therapists, rehabilitation service providers, students across these professions, and those wanting a better understanding of the presented clinical information.

- GROUP 1: Physicians, PhD, PysD, and Scientists
- GROUP 2: Advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, therapists, allied health, and research associates.
- GROUP 3: Students of these professions and community members.
STANDARD PRICING
- Group 1: $50.00
- Group 2: $25.00
- Group 3: $5.00
The cost of registration includes: tuition, CME certificate, light breakfast, snacks, and refreshments during the meeting.
Net proceeds will go to support Phoenix Children’s Craniosynostosis Program Fund.
