Join us for Corgi Beach Takeover! A benefit for the shelter pets at Oregon Humane Society. Date: Saturday, June 27
Time: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Tickets: $TBD
Location: Seaside, OR, on the beach between the roundabout off Broadway and 2nd Ave
Navigation Address: 120 Oceanway St. Seaside OR 97138 (public parking)
Parking: Use any public or street parking. Seaside has a variety of parking options.
How to Find Us: Look for the OHS, Portland Corgi Tents, and most importantly, the giddiest gathering of loafy corgis imaginable.
Let’s pack up our gear, picnic lunch and of course our Corgis (Purebred or Mix) and head out to Seaside Beach for the day! Nothing says Summer Fun like a mob of Corgis enjoying the Sun, Sand and the Ocean Breeze, while raising money for a good cause!
Make sure to shop at the merchandise area to get your Corgi gifts, raffle tickets, and/or bid on the silent action items!

SCHEDULE:
10 a.m. Event Opens - Stop by the OHS tent to purchase tickets, check in and collect your exclusive sticker.
10 a.m. Silent Auction Opens
12 Noon - Costume Contest

1:30 p.m. Corgi Races - speediest stumps win (192 Corgis max) - Sign up at the OHS tent.
3 p.m. Raffle Drawing
3:30 p.m. Silent Auction
4 p.m. Event Closes - pack up and head out for a well-deserved Corgi nap!

Race Entry Policy:
Each human ticket allows entry for one person and one corgi into the Corgi Races. If you have multiple corgis racing, please ensure one human is registered per racing corgi. One ticket does not allow multiple corgis to be signed up for the races.
REMINDERS:
Bring cash/credit for merchandise, raffle tickets and/or silent auction items.
Bring supplies for you and your pet (Poo-bags, beach toys, towels, sunscreen, swim/safety gear, water bowls, dog leashes, and/or playpens).
Plan to pack out everything you pack in, including pet waste and trash.
PET PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY AND CONDUCT OF THEIR PETS. PET WASTE REMOVAL IS REQUIRED.
Pets should be up-to-date on ALL vaccinations and dewormed.
Pet Owner/Handler Requirements: The Handler of any domestic animal must be responsible for their animal’s behavior and must exercise direct control over the animal while in the ocean shores state recreation area.
“Direct Control "means that the animal is within the unobstructed sight of the handler and responds to voice commands or other methods of control.
Domestic animal handlers must promptly leash animals at the request or order of a park employee and/or event coordinators.
Handlers must prevent their animals from harassing people, wildlife and other domestic animals.
Animals may not be hitched or confined in a manner that my cause damage to any natural resources on the ocean shore.
Handlers are responsible for the removal of the animal’s waste while in the ocean shores state recreation area.
