Brrrrrace yourself – the Cool School Challenge is back for 2026!
Time to rally your friends and Go for the Cold in support of Special Olympics Virginia. Join hundreds of students and teachers in a mad, mid-winter dash into the ocean. There will also be a costume contest, a DJ in the tent, Special Olympics Virginia athletes to cheer you on, and more!

Remember it's $100 to take the Plunge ‒ and the more you raise, the cooler the prizes. Plus, your coolest day of the year is helping fund year-round programs for 20,000 Special Olympics Virginia athletes. It doesn’t get any cooler than that!
