2026 Children’s Summer Reading Festival

Come one, come all, to our annual FREE event to kick-off Fairfax County Public Library’s summer reading program! Our 4th Annual Children’s Summer Reading Festival is designed to encourage young readers to continue their enthusiasm for reading straight into summer vacation.

There will be games and crafts, bounce houses, snacks, facepainting, food trucks, a photobooth, a D.J., live entertainment, and more…
Tickets are not required to attend this FREE event, but those who pre-register via Eventbrite are eligible to receive a free festival tote bag while supplies last.
