About this Event

The CATRAC Education Symposium brings together healthcare professionals from across the region for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration.

This in-person event will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the UT Commons Conference Center. Your registration includes event attendance, lunch, and parking.

Please be on the lookout for an email containing your parking pass prior to the event. You will need to print the pass and place it on the dashboard of your vehicle upon arrival.

This year’s symposium will feature a half-day of engaging lectures from industry experts, followed by a dedicated lunch and exhibit hall where attendees can connect with vendors and colleagues from across the region.

In addition, attendees will have the option to register for a special add-on experience: a large-scale simulation that demonstrates the full continuum of care—from prehospital response through in-hospital treatment. This immersive session is designed to highlight real-world coordination and collaboration across disciplines.

Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Hear from expert speakers on key topics in healthcare and emergency response
• Explore the exhibit hall and connect with industry partners
• Network and collaborate with professionals across the CATRAC region

Info: Attendees will select one of two educational tracks—Prehospital or In-Hospital—for the morning breakout sessions. Each track will feature presentations and discussions tailored to the unique challenges, best practices, and educational needs of that audience, allowing participants to engage with content most relevant to their role in emergency healthcare.

From Scene to Stabilization: A Pediatric Continuum of Care Simulation

Info: Experience a unique, hands-on simulation that follows a pediatric patient through the full continuum of emergency care. Participants will observe and engage in the assessment, treatment, communication, and transfer of care from the prehospital setting to the emergency department. This multidisciplinary simulation highlights the critical role of teamwork, clinical decision-making, and effective handoffs in improving outcomes for pediatric patients.

Note: This simulation is an optional add-on session and requires registration for a ticket that includes simulation participation.
