According to the CDC's data on suicide risk within occupational groups, the construction and extraction industries were found to have the highest rate of suicide in the United States. The goal of our Construction Hike for Hope initiative is to improve the mental health of construction workers and related trades through effective suicide prevention education, intervention, and postvention strategies to encourage, equip, and empower mental health champions in the workforce.
Opening Remarks at 11am, followed by a hike. Join us for an all-ages post-hike social at Common Roots Albany!
