2026 CAFM Summer Social Brunch (@ The CheckOut)!

We’re celebrating our 19th anniversary as a Meetup group with a special CAFM Summer Social on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM! Film fans, film actors, filmmakers, and other members of the Chicago film industry--this brunch event is for you!

Join us at The CheckOut in Chicago (4116 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60613)! We'll have food and drinks for you, plus plenty of time for socializing and networking while you enjoy our mix of breakfast and lunch. Rain or shine, we'll help you start your weekend. And you will automatically be entered to win our Summer Social Grand Prize!

Limited parking is available at The CheckOut through SpotHero, and there is street parking along Southport, Clark, and other streets in the neighborhood.

So order your tickets online to attend! Admission is just $20 through Thursday, August 20th at midnight. (Tickets will not be sold at the door and must be purchased online.)

We've launched the "$19 For Our 19th Anniversary" Campaign as a way for anyone to support the work of CAFM. Each donation is tax deductible and goes directly to help our nonprofit. While it won't get you into the brunch, your name will be shared on our social media channels along with all the other campaign donors, and we'll give you special recognition at the party.

You may also donate to this campaign even if you are attending the party. Just purchase your admission ticket and then select the number of $19 tickets you want to donate. Or make your donation without buying an admission ticket. Either way, we will thank you! ;)
