We invite you to the third annual Building Blocks Benefit for the New York City College of Technology (City Tech) Department of Architecture
About this Event

The Building Blocks Benefit event will begin with drinks and hors d’oeuvres at 6:00 PM in Voorhees Hall (186 Jay Street) and feature a special keynote presentation. This will be followed by a Meet & Greet in the Second Floor Lounge. Student docents will lead tours throughout Voorhees Hall, where they will share their stories and display their extraordinary work. You will be amazed by their talent and success.

City Tech has the largest undergraduate enrollment among the architectural programs offered in New York City. In order to expand access, we offer three degrees: an associate degree, a bachelor’s degree, and now the NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree. Our department provides an incomparable opportunity to a diverse and economically challenged student population.

Proceeds from the 2024 fundraiser provided students with digital fabrication materials, laptop grants, studio equipment to enhance studio culture, and paid access to professional architectural events. We expect this fundraiser to expand these valuable resources for our students. It allows them to gain visibility in an increasingly competitive industry and provide urgently needed representation to the profession.

Building the future requires many hands and much support.

Please join us in supporting our greatest resource - our students!
