If you're looking for a bargain, clearing some space and wanting to make some cash (or a bit of both), all while helping a good cause, this event is for you.On the day, we'll have hundreds of board games, card games, miniatures and general table-top paraphernalia - alongside a huge raffle, game demos, family-friendly activities, table-top competitions and more.
Whether you are coming to buy or sell, please ensure that you read all of our T&Cs below - it is important that this information is understood, as this is a community event and we want to make sure everyone has the best time possible.
Want to buy stuff?
Our doors will be open to buyers between 12-3pm.
Bring cash! The closest ATM is at the Esso petrol station (King's Drive, Eastbourne, BN21 2QP) – roughly 5 minutes’ drive away.
Want to sell stuff?
We're just updating the form from last year, which you'll need to fill in to sell games. The link will appear below when it's ready.
On the day, just bring your games between 11-11.45am and our volunteers will be able to help you label them up correctly. If you have additional items on the day (that weren't on the form you submitted) that's fine - just let a volunteer know so that we can add these to the system correctly.
Sellers will be able to pick up their money (minus a minimum 10% donation) and any unsold items after the event (4-4.45pm). Unless you would like to buy anything, you will not need to be present between dropping your games off and picking them up afterwards.
If you have any issues with any of this, please feel free to message us and we'll try our best to sort it out.
Bring & Buy Sellers Item Form:
Anybody hoping to sell games on the day will need to complete a simple sellers' form before dropping their games off. Unfortunately, the form isn't quite ready yet, but this will happen soon, so keep an eye out.
The deadline is midnight on Friday 7th August.
What can I sell?
Any table-top game will be accepted. This includes board games, miniatures, card games and any other hobbies of the sort. If you are unsure, then please message and we can advise. Any items uncollected by 4.45pm will be donated to Demelza Children's Hospice - no exceptions.
Any other details?
- Please mark your asking price clearly on the items; it will help you to sell them
- Please keep your tickets safe (from the games you drop off to sell at the bring & buy), these tickets are your proof of ownership. Without them you will not be able to reclaim your items or receive money for a sold item.
- Please list & mark your items clearly & carefully. This includes labelling any expansions or damage.
- At busy times, please bear with us when booking in or returning items to owners.
- There will also be tables available to play games you have bought on the day.
- We are planning on having a bake sale stall, with all proceeds adding to the charity pot at the end of the day, so please visit if you're feeling peckish.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully!
- All sales are final, no refunds or returns
