Join us at one of our three information sessions to learn about 2026 Bellevue Essentials!

• Wednesday, May 20, 12-12:30 p.m. (Virtual - the link will be sent after registration)
• Thursday, June 18, 6-6:30 p.m. (at Crossroads Community Center)
• Monday, June 29, 6-6:30 p.m. (at Bellevue City Hall)

Learn about the program, hear from graduates and participate in a “Question & Answer” session. Session will include tips for submitting a successful Bellevue Essentials application. Attending an information meeting is beneficial but not required to apply.

What is Bellevue Essentials?

Bellevue Essentials is a 10-week civic engagement program that will explain city government and the ways to get involved. You will experience the daily structure and operations of city government - the work, the challenges, and the collaboration between staff and community that make Bellevue a great place to live, work and play. Hands-on activities allow you to experience the day-to-day challenges of running a local government. Each session includes some pre-class homework, a networking dinner, and presentations and activities from different city departments.
