2026 Beautiful Black Women Gathering

Beautiful Black Women is an intimate gathering designed to create space for Black women to pause, connect, and simply be—together. In a world that often demands so much of us, this is an opportunity to take a breath, share a few laughs, and reconnect with community in a relaxed and affirming environment.

During this gathering, participants will have the chance to connect with one another while also hearing directly from the co-founders of My Hair My Health PDX. Adejoke Babatunde and Dr. Joyce Senior will share reflections from their nonprofit leadership journey—what it’s taken to build and sustain this work, lessons learned along the way, and what they’re most excited about as they look ahead to 2026.

This is not a panel or a formal presentation. It’s a conversation. A space rooted in honesty, shared experiences, and collective visioning. Whether you’re familiar with My Hair My Health PDX or joining us for the first time, you’re invited to come as you are and leave feeling more connected, inspired, and grounded.
