2026 Auditions: Fed Up Live

"When a Woman's Fed Up" is a popular, empowerment-focused stage play by David T. Payton and Annette Campbell, starring actors like Patrice Lovely, Terrell Phillips, and Jennifer Holliday, exploring relationship struggles, self-discovery, and female independence, with ongoing tours and performances across the US. The show features music and drama, encouraging audiences to break free from expectations. This prodcution is directed by DaVonya Terri Campbell-Payton.

Please come to your time slot at least 15 minutes before it starts. Each person auditioning will use the same Acting Improv Prompt to audition. We need to see everyone’s acting ability. The Audition Scenario is listed below. Develop your own character. Find your reason’s why and how. The scenario is simple but yet very meaningful. We want to see your emotional range. The main tip is to have fun and think over the top. Nothing is ever too big or too much. Give your all and do your best. You never know where it will take you.

Your improv scene should be anywhere from 2-5 minutes. If you are a singer or would like to showcase your singing ability, you will pick a song of your choosing and sing it acapella leading out of your improv scene. This means, you will go directly into your song once you have completed your scene. This is also where you will have time to showcase any special talent or ability that you would like us to see.
