2026 Ascend Vancouver Lunar New Year Celebration: "Galloping Together"

Ascend Vancouver invites you and the broader professional community for an evening of culture, connection, and conversation in historic Chinatown to ring in the 2026 Lunar New Year!

We’ll start with a visit to the Chinese Canadian Museum, then gather for dinner and guided networking at Jade Dynasty Restaurant. The evening is designed to spark real connections through shared cultural experiences, conversation prompts, and thoughtful seating, in the spirit of the Year of the Horse, symbolizing momentum, collaboration, and collective progress.

What attendees will experience:

• Real connections early in the Lunar New Year: Everyone will leave having met at least one new contact they’ll stay in touch with after the event
• A meaningful Lunar New Year celebration that honours Asian heritage and one of the most important annual cultural celebration
• An opportunity to experience and support Chinatown by gathering at the Chinese Canadian Museum and supporting local businesses

Additional Event Notes:

• Ticket admission includes admission to the Chinese Canadian Museum (51 East Pender Street) with a guided or self-guided tour*; 1 alcoholic beverage and dinner at Jade Dynasty Restaurant
• If you cannot or do not wish to participate in the museum tour, please register with the "Dinner Only" option. Please arrive at Jade Dynasty Restaurant after 5:30pm for the dinner portion of the program.
• We have limited capacity for the guided tour and encourage you to purchase your tickets early to secure a spot!
• *Guided Museum tour is limited to the first 25 registrations. Other participants can enjoy the museum via a self-guided tour. If you arrive late for the guided tour, your spot may also be offered to someone else in attendance.
