2026 Arts Grant Workshop (in-person)

JOIN US FOR A FREE IN-PERSON WORKSHOP FOR ABC GRANT APPLICANTS

The purpose of the workshop is to assist applicants in writing the Arts Build Communities (ABC) grant applications. The ABC grant program is designed to provide support for arts projects that broaden access to arts experiences, address community quality of life issues through the arts, or enhance the sustainability of asset-based cultural enterprises. The Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC) is designated to administer the ABC program on behalf of the TN Arts Commission for the following counties: Davidson, Rutherford, Sumner, Trousdale, Williamson, and Wilson.

Maximum award is $5,000, and there is no match requirement. Applications for the ABC grant program will go through a local review process for selection. Grant funds must be used by June 15, 2027.

Entities of local government within Tennessee

New in FY 2027: Operating Support Grantees are not eligible to apply for ABC in FY 2027 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026). Operating Support categories include MCI, Partnership Support, Small Urban Partnership Support, and Small Rural Partnership Support.
