2026 Annual Spring Fling and Silent Auction with guest Jeff Lawson, '80.

Saturday March 21, 2026 is the date for or our Annual Meeting and Spring Fling and our award-winning Silent Auction to raise funds for our student scholarship. (No kidding, we did win an Alumni Association award for our creative auction!)

This is our once-a-year "bump up the wardrobe a tad" to corporate casual, enjoy a nice evening at The Westin Hotel private dining room, hear stories about how Penn State influenced the television career of Jeff Lawson, BS Meteorology '80, and bid on items to raise money for our local student scholarship, The Donald and Rose Marie Anderson Memorial Scholarship. It's a great time for a great cause!

SILENT AUCTION

The Spring Fling also features a silent auction. It's the chapter's big fundraising event of the year for our student scholarship fund. Prepare to bid on an array of outstanding items- many of them Penn State related! Lisa Smith, BA Advertising '80, outdoes herself every year putting together record-setting auctions. She's already busy collecting items and experiences for the auction. If you have something to donate, contact her and she'll even come pick it up. Reach out to her at [email protected]
We have our first silent auction item! It's a quilt hand-made by longtime chapter member Eileen McCall, who married into Penn State and contributed the quilt before she and Don left to winter in Florida. Do you have a contribution for the silent auction? It doesn't have to be a Penn State item. Can be anything! Gift cards, experiences, household items, and of course, Penn State memorabilia. Let's shatter last year's record-setting amount raised for our chapter student scholarship!

REGISTRATION (ticket includes 3 course dinner and 1 drink ticket)

• Early Bird $50 (Save $10 through March 6 at midnight)
• General Admission $60 (March 6- March 13 at midnight)
