It’s the most wonderful time of the year coming soon, and we can’t wait to celebrate together! Grab your festive sweaters and bring your biggest smiles—you are cordially invited to the Friends of the Children–Detroit 2026 Annual Holiday Celebration, an exclusive evening created just for our amazing, enrolled families.

• When: Friday, December 18, 2026 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Where: Durfee Innovation Society, 2470 Collingwood Street, Detroit, MI 48206
• Ride With Us: Complimentary rides are available courtesy of Checker Transportation!

The Fun We Have Planned

• 🍽️ Delicious Holiday Feast: A warm, festive buffet dinner. 
• 🎅 Santa Storytime & Photos: Dress in your holiday best for story hour and take a keepsake picture with Santa!
• 🎶 Joyful Sounds: A special caroling performance starring our very own talented FOTCD youth.
• 🎁 Gifts & Goodies: Holiday gifts for every enrolled FOTCD child.

A Quick Note on Registration : this event is by invitation only, the venue has a strict capacity of 150 guests.

• Household Limit: 1 caregiver and up to 5 children (maximum of 6 total).
• Spaces are reservation-only and fill up quickly!
