Every year WAA holds a Women in Aerospace Conference to inspire students in aerospace engineering. This year’s conference will be held on November 14th in Ann Arbor, Michigan with the theme “Curiosity Takes Flight - Dare to Follow,” which emphasizes following your interests and passions, even if they seem daunting or unobtainable. Our conference honoree, Amy Johnson, an inspiring engineer who didn’t let anything stand in her way and persevered through every challenge in her path, embodied this theme perfectly.
