2026 Alumni/8th Grade Band Night

The Pride of Carey welcomes alumni members of the marching band to perform with the Pride of Carey Marching Band and the 8th Grade Band at the Carey vs. Upper Sandusky football game on September 11th, 2026.
Rehearsals for the performance will take place Wednesday, September 2nd, Tuesday, September 8th, and Wednesday, September 9th from 7:00-8:30PM in the CHS music room and September 11th at 5:30PM, behind the high school track. Attendance is not necessary at the rehearsals, but may be helpful in dusting off the cobwebs from your instrument and chops. The combined bands will perform music patriotic music as well as the CHS Alma Mater and CHS Fight Song. Music can be picked up from the band director at the high school or emailed directly to you. PDF versions should be available on Facebook before August 19th. Please email/DM to make special arrangements if needed.
Large instruments such as percussion, sousaphones, baritones, and mellophones will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis. We have enough to practically fill a second band, but don’t hesitate to reserve one, as minor repairs and maintenance may need to be done on a particular instrument. Other instruments (trumpets, trombones, saxophones, clarinets, and flutes) may be borrowed if you do not have one of your own. Contact the director for any instrument needs or supplies you may need.
