About this Event
The fifth annual Alaska Sustainable Energy Conference will be held May 19-21, 2026 at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska. We will also once again be partnering with the U.S. Deptartment of Energy Arctic Energy Office for a pre-conference event on May 18.
The Alaska Sustainable Energy Conference is your chance to join visionaries, researchers, industry leaders and entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors from across the country and around the world in our beautiful home known as the Last Frontier.
The energy transition as we once knew it has transformed. The focus is no longer on replacing one source of energy with another, but the additionality of energy of all kinds to meet the surging demand from the revolution in data centers and artificial intelligence, and the reshoring of domestic manufacturing.
“North to the Future” isn’t just our State motto. It is our destiny, and Alaska stands ready to meet the energy needs of our people, our fellow Americans and the world.
We are home to vast supplies of conventional oil and natural gas including the Alaska LNG Project; strategic minerals that include 49 of the 50 identified as critical to national security and advancing technologies; abundant lands and fresh water; tremendous renewable resources from wind and solar to tidal and geothermal; the greatest carbon capture resources on the West Coast of North America; and communities welcoming the opportunities for advanced nuclear power. Our strategic location on the globe and long-standing trade relationships with our Asian allies provides unmatched logistical advantages for doing business.
In short, Alaska has it all.
There is no better place to explore the future of energy than Alaska, where sustainability is a founding principle of our State and our way of life, and where we’ve proven that resource development conducted under the highest standards can exist in harmony with our environment and our people.
Heading into our fifth event in 2026, the Alaska Sustainable Energy Conference has become the premier gathering for people like you from across the entire energy and political spectrum. Our past speakers have included Cabinet officials, Ambassadors, current and former Governors, CEOs, National Lab Directors, and authors, with attendees from the Arctic to Australia, and from Europe to the Middle and Far East.
