We are excited to announce that the Alabama Library Expo tour will be held on the second full week in October at the following locations across the great state of Alabama:
Tuesday, October 13, 2026: The Grounds Mobile in Mobile
Wednesday, October 14, 2026: Central Alabama Community College in Prattville
Thursday, October 15, 2026: Vestavia Hills Civic Center in Birmingham
Friday, October 16, 2026: Cook Museum of Natural Science in Decatur

There is NO cost for you to attend Alabama Library Expo as your fee is covered by the vendors. Additionally, you will receive 6 hours credit toward your in-service requirements.
If you plan to attend, please Pre-Register for the location of your choice, then bring your printed ticket with you to the registration desk of that specific location for quick check-in!
If you weren't able to Pre-Register On-Line, we also have On-Site registration each day, beginning at 8:00 am. Workshops conclude at 2:15 pm. PowerSchool‑External Credit will be handled by your LEA. Details will be discussed during the General Session. To ensure you receive PowerSchool-External Credit, please inform the PD coordinator at your local school district.
Exhibits and General Session / Awards Ceremony are prior to Lunch, with the first speaker beginning at 11:30 am. Lunch is on your own from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
