2026 4th of July Fireworks Boat Cruise on San Francisco Bay

RAISE A TOAST TO INDEPENDENCE DAY 2026 CRUISING ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY with your family, friends and other guests. Get that fun boat experience aboard our 65ft modern sailboat, the Derek M. Baylis!! T he San Francisco 4th of July fireworks display will take place at approximately 9:30 p.m. from barges near Fisherman's Wharf, offering stunning views from the water.

You can board the boat in San Francisco or beat the city crowds and board the boat at Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond (East Bay).

Enjoy a relaxing cruise of the San Francisco city waterfront and the Bay islands - Alcatraz, Angel Island and Tiburon heading out to the Golden Gate bridge aboard the Derek M. Baylis. Then prepare to get close to the action to enjoy the famous San Francisco 4th of July fireworks show from the water!

What to Expect: This is our most famous event of the year, so we make it special with:

1. Great trays of excellent hors d'oevres,
2. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and water
3. Front-row seats for the fireworks, freeing you up to relax, to enjoy the company and marvel at the world-famous San Francisco Bay fireworks show.
   NOTE: Everyone will be carded. Consumption of alcohol under 21 is not allowed.

When: 4th of July, 2026

Time: Pick-up at 7:00 pm at the Bike Hut, Pier 40
Drop off: After the Fireworks at Pier 40

There are 3 ticket prices. All are for the same package, but if you sign up early the price is lower.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum age to come on the boat, but you must be 21 years old to drink alcohol. This is a California state requirement and we enforce it or we lose our license. We look out for youths who try to sneak alcohol onboard.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Book a spot in one of the parking garages nearby, or we suggest coming by public transportation or ride share.

Can I update my registration information?

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, anyone who is holding a paid ticket - printed or eletronic - can board the boat

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes - see above.

FAQs

What's the refund policy?

We have no control over the San Francisco Fireworks, so we do not refund tickets if the Fireworks show is cancelled. No refunds after 15 calendar days prior to the event, unless we can resell your ticket in which case you will get a full refund.
The Eventbrite fee is never refunded.
