Hare Kṛṣṇa dear devotees! Join us for our 2nd Chicago Rathayatra at the 97th Annual Bud Billiken on Saturday August 8th.
About this Event

Here in Chicago, we have one of the largest televised parades in the country and the most beautiful, largest deity of Lord Jagannatha! This is our opportunity to bring Lord Jagannatha to thousands of people with kirtan, dancing, and book distribution, sharing the Holy Names and bringing joy to so many. This is a family friendly event: families, children, teachers, community organizations, churches, civic leaders, and people from every background come together to celebrate this historic back to school event.
We are calling on all devotees to please join us and participate to make this most powerful Maha Sankirtan ever.
What to bring

• Wear your brightest devotional attire
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Check the weather before leaving
• Eat breakfast before boarding the shuttle
• Water and light refreshments will be available
• Lunch prasadam served after the parade

Bus transportation from Iskcon Chicago and back

Info: To accommodate all devotees, free bus transportation will be provided to and from the temple, leaving the temple at 10:30am. The parade is estimated to get underway at 11:30am until about 2:30pm followed by a Prasadam picnic before returning to the temple. All you have to do is join!
