Dance Troupe aims to instill confidence in every student and teach the values of commitment, teamwork, and a strong work ethic through training, performance, and competition opportunities in dance.

Audition Dates:
Saturday April 18th at ADC-Timberwood Park
Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical
9:00-10:00am 8yrs & under
10:00-11:30am 9-12yrs olds
12:00am-1:30pm 13 & up
Friday April 24th at ADC-Bulverde/Spring Branch

2:00-3:00pm 11 yrs & up
Hip Hop
4:00-5:00pm 10 yrs & under
5:00-6:00pm 9-13 yrs
6:00-7:00pm 12 yrs & up
What to expect:
In a class setting students will demonstrate basic ballet technique, a jazz combination, a contemporary/lyrical combination, skills in the center and will be asked to demonstrate any acrobatic skills they have. (No previous acro skill required to make the team).
Attire: form-fitting all black attire. Hair pulled back out of face. Make-up should be worn and lipstick (performance make-up is not necessary).
Selection:
*The Dance Troupe is open to dancers ages 4-18.
*The decision of the judges is FINAL.
*Dancers will be notified by email and audition results will be posted at the studio.
*Dance Troupe members are required to take the following technique classes: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. The Dance Troupe is also required to attend rehearsals during the week and weekend.
*Tuition for Dance Troupe members ranges from $275-$385 per month (depending on the level of Troupe). The flat tuition rate allows troupe members access to all dance classes. (unlimited classes)
*The group will perform at local events as well as competitions. It is mandatory for all members to participate. Members will also be required to attend dance conventions during the year.
*Troupe members are required to train during the summer. If you have a summer schedule conflict please notify us NOW.
*Dancers that make the team are required to take classes and participate as an active member from July 2026 – July 2027.
*Dance Troupe is a commitment. Students must attend all rehearsals and technique classes.
*Dance Troupe members that miss more than a set number of rehearsals and or technique classes will be dismissed from the Dance Troupe. No refunds will be given for costumes, conventions, competition fees or classes.
Approximate Costs for the group: $95 per routine per competition (each group usually does at least 2 routines at 3 competitions) $100-$150 per costume.
