WCPS teachers are dedicated to educating the youth of our community and preparing them for eventually entering the workforce. This dinner event will celebrate our educators in Washington County! During the awards ceremony, WCPS will honor the educators that have been named finalists for the distinguished "Washington County Teacher of the Year" title. Then, the 2026-2027 winner will be announced!
The winner will go on to compete at the Maryland Teacher of the Year competition as well.
This year's finalists are:
- Kaelii Boyer,1st grade teacher at Clear Spring Elementary
- Ashley Doyle, Health Occupations teacher at Boyd J. Michael lll, Technical High School
- Caitlin Keller, Connections teacher at Boonsboro Middle School
- Robin Papa, Math teacher at Clear Spring High School
- Angie Stouffer, Science Teacher at Smithsburg High School
